| es_PE |

Results: the phytochemical analysis of the Echinopsis Peruviana extract showed a high amount of phenols, saponins, tannins and alkaloids, with a moderate presence of steroids and a low presence of quinones and triterpenes. No flavonoids were detected. In a study conducted over two weeks, it was observed that the group treated with minoxidil showed greater growth, followed by the group treated with 5% Echinopsis Peruviana extract, which also showed accelerated growth.
Conclusion: the lotion of Echinopsis Peruviana extract at 2.5% and 5% for the treatment of alopecia areata (AA) in albino rats (Holtzman strain) has a stimulating effect. | es_PE |
