dc.description.abstract | Objetivo: determinar el efecto hepatoprotector del extracto
etanólico de las hojas de Desmodium molliculum (manayupa) en
Rattus rattus.
Material y método: la investigación fue de tipo explicativo y
diseño experimental, se emplearon 30 ratas albinas distribuidas
en cinco grupos (n=6), el daño hepático se indujo con 400 mg/kg
de paracetamol, los grupos(G) recibieron: G1 suero fisiológico 4
mL/Kg, G2 silimarina 15 mg/kg, G3, G4 y G5 extracto en dosis de
50, 100 y 200 mg/kg respectivamente, se evaluaron la
macroscópica hepática y el perfil hepático.
Resultados: el rendimiento porcentual del extracto de manayupa
fue de 8,3%, y presentó alcaloides, flavonoides, compuestos
fenólicos, taninos y esteroides triterpénicos, el mayor efecto
hepatoprotector lo mostro el extracto a 200 mg/kg del extracto,
manteniendo el perfil hepático dentro de los niveles normales en
sangre, la evaluación macroscópica de los hígados mostró
normalidad en peso, y color. La silimarina mostró ser
ligeramente más eficaz que el extracto a dosis de 200 mg/kg.
Conclusiones: se concluyó que el extracto etanólico de las hojas
de Desmodium molliculum (manayupa) tiene efecto
hepatoprotector en Rattus rattus, con inducción de daño
hepático por paracetamol. | es_PE |
dc.description.abstract | Objective: to determine the hepatoprotective effect of the ethanolic
extract of the leaves of Desmodium molliculum (manayupa) in
Rattus rattus.
Material and method: the research was explanatory and
experimental in design, 30 albino rats were used distributed in five
groups (n=6), the liver damage was induced with 400 mg/kg of
paracetamol, the groups (G) received: G1 physiological serum 4
mL/Kg, G2 silymarin 15 mg/kg, G3, G4 and G5 extract in doses of 50,
100 and 200 mg/kg respectively, the hepatic macroscopic and the
hepatic profile were evaluated.
Results: the percentage yield of the manayupa extract was 8.3%,
and it presented alkaloids, flavonoids, phenolic compounds, tannins
and triterpene steroids. The greatest hepatoprotective effect was
shown by the extract at 200 mg/kg of the extract, maintaining the hepatic profile within normal blood levels. Macroscopic evaluation
of the livers showed normal weight and color. Silymarin was shown
to be slightly more effective than the extract at a dose of 200 mg/kg.
Conclusions: it was concluded that the ethanolic extract of the leaves
of Desmodium molliculum (manayupa) has a hepatoprotective
effect on Rattus rattus, with induction of liver damage by
