Actitud hacia el consumo de medicamentos genéricos y la automedicación en usuarios de tres establecimientos farmacéuticos de la av. Canto Grande, San Juan de Lurigancho, febrero-marzo 2023

Abstract

El objetivo fue determinar la relación entre la actitud hacia el consumo de medicamentos genéricos y la automedicación en usuarios de tres establecimientos farmacéuticos de la Av. Canto Grande, San Juan de Lurigancho, febrero-marzo 2023. MATERIALES. El enfoque fue cuantitativo, el diseño de investigación fue no experimental y transversal. La muestra estuvo conformada por 200 usuarios de los tres establecimientos farmacéuticos de la Av. Canto Grande, San Juan de Lurigancho, Febrero-Marzo 2023. Los instrumentos de recolección de datos empleados fueron el cuestionario de actitudes hacia el consumo de medicamentos genéricos y el cuestionario de aceptación de la automedicación. En relación a los resultados se halló que no relación entre la actitud hacia el consumo de medicamentos genéricos y la aceptación hacia automedicación en usuarios de tres establecimientos farmacéuticos de la Av. Canto Grande (p>0,05); asimismo, se halló en la mayor parte de evaluados un actitud de indiferencia hacia el consumo de medicamentos genéricos (61,5%) y rechazo hacia la automedicación (64,5%), y en cuanto a las dimensiones de la actitud hacia el consumo de medicamentos genéricos fue en su mayoría de indiferencia, así como en las dimensiones de la automedicación que también fue de indiferencia.

The objective was to determine the relationship between the attitude towards the consumption of generic medications and self-medication in users of three pharmaceutical establishments on Av. Canto Grande, San Juan de Lurigancho, February-March 2023. MATERIALS. The approach was quantitative, the research design was non-experimental and transversal. The sample was made up of 200 users from the three pharmaceutical establishments on Av. Canto Grande, San Juan de Lurigancho, February-March 2023. The data collection instruments used were the questionnaire on attitudes towards the consumption of generic medications and the questionnaire acceptance of self- medication. In relation to the results, it was found that there was no relationship between the attitude towards the consumption of generic medications and the acceptance towards self- medication in users of three pharmaceutical establishments on Av. Canto Grande (p>0.05); Likewise, in the majority of those evaluated, an attitude of indifference towards the consumption of generic medications (61.5%) and rejection towards self- medication (64.5%) was found, and regarding the dimensions of the attitude towards consumption of generic medications was mostly of indifference, as well as in the dimensions of self- medication which was also of indifference.
