dc.description.abstract | Objetivo: determinar el efecto antimicótico in vitro del extracto
etanólico del epicarpio de Citrus paradisi (Pomelo) frente cepas de
Candida albicans ATCC 10231. Materiales y métodos: cuantitativo, experimental; población: 20 Kg
de Citrus paradisi; muestra de 5 kg de epicarpio de Citrus paradisi;
por otro lado, se empleó 10 placas Petri inoculadas con Candida
albicans ATCC 10231. Además, se empleó la marcha fitoquímica,
difusión en agar en pozos, compuesta por conjuntos al 30%, 50% y
90% contra a Fluconazol. Resultados: las medias en concentraciones del 30%, 50% y 90% del
extracto etanólico del epicarpio de pomelo frente Candida albicans
fueron más bajos que los registrados por el Fluconazol. La prueba de
ANOVA manifestó (p<0,05) en comparación con el conjunto de
control. Además, se identificó la presencia de antraquinonas,
compuestos fenólicos, lactonas α, β-insaturadas, taninos,
antocianinas y alcaloides. Conclusión: el extracto etanólico del epicarpio de Citrus paradisi
(pomelo) presentó efecto antimicótico al 50% y 90% frente Candida
albicans ATCC 10231. | es_PE |
dc.description.abstract | Objective: determine the in vitro antifungal effect of the ethanolic
extract of the epicarp of Citrus paradisi (Grapefruit) against strains
of Candida albicans ATCC 10231. Materials and methods: quantitative, experimental; population: 20
Kg of Citrus paradisi; 5 kg sample of Citrus paradisi epicarp; On the
other hand, 10 Petri plates inoculated with Candida albicans ATCC
10231 were used. In addition, the phytochemical march was used,
diffusion in agar in wells, consisting of groups at 30%, 50% and 90%
against Fluconazole. Results: the average diameters at concentrations of 30%, 50% and
90% of the ethanolic extract of grapefruit epicarp against Candida
albicans were lower than those recorded by Fluconazole. The
ANOVA test showed (p<0.05) compared to the control set.
Additionally, the presence of anthraquinones, phenolic compounds,
α, β-unsaturated lactones, tannins, anthocyanins, reducing sugars,
flavonoids and alkaloids was identified. Conclusion: the ethanolic extract of the epicarp of Citrus paradisi
(grapefruit) presented 50% and 90% antifungal effect against
