Nivel de estrés y desempeño laboral de los trabajadores de un puesto de salud en Lima, Perú, 2024

Abstract

La metodología utilizada fue de tipo cuantitativo, no experimental, con un diseño de cohorte transversal y enfoque correlacional. La muestra estuvo conformada por 30 trabajadores del puesto de salud ubicado en Santa Rosa de Quives, Santa Anita, Lima, Perú, en 2024. Para la recolección de datos, se aplicaron instrumentos validados con alta confiabilidad. Resultados: obtenidos revelaron un valor estadístico Rho = -0.743, lo que indica una correlación negativa significativa. Con un nivel de confianza del 95%, se puede afirmar que existe una correlación negativa alta entre las variables de estrés laboral y desempeño laboral, ya que el valor de significancia bilateral es 0.000, que se encuentra por debajo del umbral de 0.05. Conclusión: el nivel de estrés tiene una relación inversa con el desempeño laboral de los trabajadores en el puesto de salud en Lima, Perú, durante 2024.

The present study aims to determine the relationship between work stress and job performance among healthcare workers in Lima, Peru, in 2024. The research methodology used was descriptive, cross-sectional, and correlational. The population consisted of staff working in a healthcare center, with n = 30 subjects, located in Lima, Peru, in 2024. Validated and reliable instruments were administered to these subjects, resulting in a Rho statistic of 0.743. This correlation is highly significant. Therefore, it can be stated with 95% confidence that in the study setting, there is a "high positive correlation" between the Work Stress and Job Performance variables, because the two-tailed Sig. value is 0.000, which is below the required 0.05. It is concluded that there is a relationship between the study variables in this report.
