Factores asociados a estrés ansiedad y depresión en el personal de enfermería del Hospital Regional del Cusco, 2025

Abstract

Objetivo: el objetivo de este estudio es determinar los factores asociados al estrés, ansiedad y depresión en el personal de enfermería del área de emergencia del Hospital Regional del Cusco durante el 2025. Materiales y métodos: la presente investigación se enmarca en un enfoque cuantitativo con alcance Versión 3, 2021 correlacional, utilizando un diseño descriptivo no experimental y un análisis transversal, dado que los datos se recolectarán en un único momento para obtener una visión puntual del estrés, la ansiedad y la depresión en el personal de enfermería del área de emergencia del Hospital Regional del Cusco durante 2025. La población estará constituida por la totalidad del personal de enfermería del servicio, empleándose un muestreo no probabilístico de tipo censal. La recolección de datos se realizará mediante la técnica de encuesta, utilizando el cuestionario basado en la Escala de Depresión, Ansiedad y Estrés (DASS-21), que consta de 21 ítems con cuatro alternativas tipo Likert de 0 a 3, permitiendo evaluar cada subescala y obtener un indicador general de sintomatología emocional; este instrumento es breve, de autoreporte, fácil de administrar y cuenta con validez y propiedades psicométricas comprobadas para medir depresión, ansiedad y estrés en adultos, tanto pacientes como no pacientes.

Objective: the objective of this study is to determine the factors associated with stress, anxiety, and depression among the nursing staff in the emergency department of the Cusco Regional Hospital during 2025. Materials and methods: this research is framed within a quantitative approach with a correlational scope, employing a descriptive non-experimental design and a cross-sectional analysis, as data will be collected at a single point in time to obtain a snapshot of stress, anxiety, and depression among the nursing staff in the emergency department of the Cusco Regional Hospital during 2025. The study population will consist of all nursing personnel in the service, using a nonprobabilistic census sampling method. Data collection will be conducted through a survey, utilizing the questionnaire based on the Depression, Anxiety, and Stress Scale (DASS-21), which consists of 21 items with four Likert-type response options Versión 3, 2021 ranging from 0 to 3. This allows for the assessment of each subscale and the calculation of an overall emotional symptom score. The instrument is brief, self-reported, easy to administer, and has validated psychometric properties for measuring depression, anxiety, and stress in adults, both patients and nonpatients.
