Conocimiento sobre el cuidado de pacientes con insuficiencia respiratoria en personal de enfermería del área de emergencias del Hospital III Angamos Suárez – Lima, 2024

Abstract

Objetivo: determinar el nivel de conocimiento sobre el cuidado de pacientes con insuficiencia respiratoria en el personal de enfermería del área de emergencias del Hospital III Angamos Suárez – Lima, 2024. Materiales y métodos: estudio correlacional y aplicado, con enfoque cuantitativo, diseño transversal, no experimental. Estará representado por 45 enfermeros, seleccionados mediante muestreo no probabilístico censal. Los datos serán recolectados utilizando un cuestionario de opción múltiple para evaluar los conocimientos y una lista de cotejo dicotómica autoadministrada para medir la práctica del cuidado de enfermería. Resultados: se empleará estadística descriptiva e inferencial para el análisis de los datos. Para evaluar su asociación entre variables, se utilizará la prueba de Rho de Spearman. Los hallazgos serán presentados de manera ordenada mediante tablas y gráficos que facilitarán la comprensión del comportamiento de las variables. Conclusiones: los resultados obtenidos servirán como insumo para la mejorar las capacidades de los enfermeros, optimizando los cuidados del paciente con insuficiencia respiratoria.

Objective: to determine the level of knowledge about the care of patients with respiratory failure in the nursing staff of the emergency area of Hospital III Angamos Suárez - Lima, 2024. Materials and methods: correlational and applied study, with quantitative approach, cross-sectional, non-experimental design. It will be represented by 45 nurses, selected by non-probabilistic census sampling. Data will be collected using a multiple-choice questionnaire to assess knowledge and a self-administered dichotomous checklist to measure nursing care practice. Results: descriptive and inferential statistics will be used for data analysis. Spearman's Rho correlation test will be used to evaluate their association between variables. The findings will be presented in an orderly manner using tables and graphs that will facilitate the understanding of the behavior of the variable. Conclusions: the results obtained will serve as input for the improvement of the nurses' skills, optimizing the care of the patient with respiratory failure.
