dc.description.abstract | Objetivo: determinar e identificar las plantas medicinales usados en tratamiento de los trastornos musculoesqueléticos.
Material y método: enfoque cuantitativo, diseño no experimental, descriptivo y de corte transversal, con población de 500 pobladores adultos, tipo de muestra no probabilístico 218 personas. Se aplicó la encuesta utilizando cuestionario de 20 ítems.
Resultados: el 100% de las personas han padecido en algún momento problemas musculoesqueléticos, de los cuales 43% lumbalgia, 36% dorsalgia, 19% cervicalgia. El 100% conocen o han usado una planta medicinal para tratar problemas musculoesqueléticos, el 59% tratan los golpes, 22% torceduras, 11% otros trastornos musculoesqueléticos y 8% luxaciones. Las principales plantas medicinales utilizadas para tratar problemas musculoesqueléticos fueron 51% llantén, 21% pepa de palta, 13% árnica y 10% perejil; de los cuales 47% utilizan en forma de infusión, 27% emplasto y 26% machacado.
Conclusiones: en su totalidad la población ha padecido en algún momento de problemas musculoesqueléticos, con mayor frecuencia lumbalgia. Todos conocen o han usado alguna vez alguna planta medicinal en el tratamiento de problemas musculoesqueléticos. La principal planta medicinal usado para tratamiento de trastornos musculoesqueléticos es llantén, la parte de la planta utilizada son las hojas y generalmente plantas frescas. | es_PE |

The main medicinal plants used to treat musculoskeletal problems were 51% plantain, 21% avocado seed, 13% arnica and 10% parsley; of which 47% use in the form of an infusion, 27% as a plaster and 26% crushed.
Conclusions: as a whole, the population has
suffered at some point from problems musculoskeletal, most often low back pain. Everyone knows or has ever used a medicinal plant in the treatment of musculoskeletal problems.
